They probably got the first crack at his dna through mail to the Ramseys or the professor where he licked and touched what he mailed.

Karr has long sex assault record, official says
By Kirk Mitchell
MEDIANEWS

John Mark Karr's arrest in Bangkok, Thailand, after vanishing several years ago was a mixed blessing for his 85-year-old father.

"I thought someone had killed him," Wexford Karr said Wednesday afternoon while sobbing during a telephone interview from his home in Atlanta. "This is such a surprise that he is alive."

But learning his son was alive also came with news that the 41-year-old was arrested in the Dec. 26, 1996, murder of JonBenét Ramsey, he said.

For some reason, this blows me away.

I guess my question relates to this: he had been arrested and convicted in California in 2001 i believe and he skipped the country before sentencing. Don't people charged with child porn have to give up their DNA? That is what i thought. if so, why wasn't his DNA matched up earlier than now?

I'm sure there is simple answer ...

And from the same article:

"He is just an exemplary son," he (the father of the accused) said.

That's pretty amazing as well.

It just seems to me that the guy is trying to play both ends against the middle. I'd send him off to Texas in a minute, if it were up to me...

That could be, but IMO they had DNA from licked envelops mailed from him to the Ramseys and maybe to another professor.

"Spreading the truth??" I'd say you're more like spreading conjecture. What DNA??????????????? As you and the other Freepers who jumped on this guy as the killer) can see there are serious problems with both this guy and his so-called "confession."

He didn't do it. He wasn't even there. He provides no details. Suddenly, after the first hysteria over this nit-wit's confession, now you see every pundit on TV saying, whoa, maybe we bit on this too fast.

I suspect you're still trying to clear Dan Rather!

James Earl Ray, Mark David Chapman, John Wayne Gacy, Sirhan Sirhan Sirhan.

We should be keeping a careful eye on James Earl Jones.
