It's the last Sunday morning before the first day of school here. Summer is over and I knew the only way to get the boys out of bed is to bring out the big guns, the old reliable, the smell of fresh fried thick sliced bacon. Just before the big splattering started, as I was about to put the lid over the skillet, I was listening to how the sizzling static sound was mixing with the morning news on the TV. More bombs and rockets in Israel and Lebanon sizzle sizzle. Huge terror attack foiled in London sizzle sizzle. It all fit together with the 100 degree temperature outside, increasing world chaos and the grease popping all over my stove again. As the boys stumbled into the kitchen all grumpy and bummed out I dropped the heavy pancakes, butter chunks, bacon and Aunt Jemima on the table. When I went to put the skillet back on the stove I saw him and screamed. Then the boys looked and no one said a word except for the TV news. My oldest noticed the lines at the bottom of the image and got on the internet to see if he could find out if it was some kind of word. It didn't take too long to learn the most shocking part of all. With a little open mindedness the lines looked like Arabic letters that said "Mohammed." Could this really be a bacon grease image of the prophet? It looks like that to me. This image is 11" square on Brawney paper towel and will be shipped in tin foil folder inside flat box.
How long before e-bay yanks this thing?

Oh, man. Why didn't I think of this? I sold a thank you card from Osama to Bill Keller of the NY TIMES, a quitclaim deed to al-Zarqawi's bombed out house, a request to the Iraqi ambassador in Washington DC to let an American participate in Hussein's firing squad, a photo of Arianna in a Chevy Suburban, etc ---- BUT THIS ONE IS GREAT! This person is the next Salman Rusdie. They are going to find out who did it. Maybe it is a good thing I didn't think of it.
