Since so many here want so much to forgive Mel Gibson for his anti-semetic tirade and beligerent behavior towards law enforcement I was trying to come up with the best punishment. I think I got it. Besides the obligatory fine, I think the Judge should sentence him to 500 hours community service at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. What do you all think his sentence should be?

I like Mel; but that sounds like a reasonable thing to me. I'd don't think anyone can get his father back in the States though.

I wouldn't cut his hours in half for anything; his father is beyond help, imo.

I think that punishment is appropriate. I think he should sit with some holocaust survivors and get a clue.

If he went into such a tirade, it is not actionable by the courts. No punishment.
These threads seem to interest you enough to come on every time.
He should not be allowed to drive, again. And he needs to have his mouth washed out with soap... He's a bad example for his tons of kids... a WILLIAM WALLACE he is NOT.
