The MLS article forgot about the Trinidad forward who plays in MLS...
I'll be rolling tape on England/Trinidad today, as I work.
I can't wait for the England match. They are my second team behind the US. As it looks like we might well bomb out of the tournament early, my hopes are resting with them.
Another great day. I salute my friends here who will be embracing this day with joy.
Today T&T will embrace the English and Wayne's minutes against them with aplomb.
They may even applaud if he gets a goal.
What great sportsmanship they have.
Ecuador vs. Costa Rica, Hamburg, LIVE on ESPN2 in 3 minutes!!!!!
For the US we are looking for respect. Ghana did great against Italy with their performance. Just hoping we can do the same.
TV schedule: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/tv/listing?cc=5901
We need more than respect. We need a win. We still would have had a shot had it been 1-0 against the Czechs. 3-0 is horrible to us in the goal differential department.
Go England and Sweden!
GO Sweden???
Pfoy!! Blasphemy!
Paraguayan Power! :-)
3-0 is horrible to us in the goal differential department.
I recall a survey done some time ago that said Swedish men prefer Norwegian women.
GD will only matter if we end up with 4 points, as then it's possible another team in the group will have 4.
GD might also matter if we have 6 points (everyone beats Ghana, the remaining games are split), but that's unlikely.
As a practical matter, Team USA needs two wins to go through.
It about kills our chances of slipping by with four points.
Apparently, English men disagree.

England better have their good stuff today.
