A middle-aged guy with long curly hair, apotty mouth and a trophy wife/girlfriend who gets over-paid for a radio show with dwindling ratings. Are we talking about Don Imus or Howard Stern?

Thought you might be interested in this:

Roe Conn, the quick-witted afternoon personality on ABC-owned news/talk WLS-AM (890), has landed his first national television gig. Starting tonight, Conn will have his own weekly segment on Glenn Beck's new one-hour talk show on CNN Headline News. Beck, a self-described "recovering scumbag" who hosts a nationally syndicated radio talk show, debuted his topical gabfest on the cable network this week. It airs at 6 p.m. with reruns at 8 and 11 p.m. Conn will turn up on the show every Wednesday with "Roes & Cons," an irreverent roundup of the winners and losers of the week in the news. He'll tape his segments from studios in Chicago. "Glenn is a really rare talent and the show is a blast," he said. "I'm thrilled that they asked me to be a part of it." Conn, a lifelong Chicagoan and former producer at WBBM-Channel 2 and the old WMAQ-AM, joined WLS as a producer and weekend host in 1989. He moved up to full-time host in 1991.

When a search engine is "worth" $132billion and a socializing website that is permetually experiencing outages can sell for $500million, paying an established host in stock options doesn't sound so bad.

A dollar just isn't worth the same it seems. Problem is I haven't convinced my boss of this yet.

heh, The end-around by the O&A show has really got him steamed. I bet he's in therapy like every day now.
