NEW YORK - He usually saves his beefs for other rappers; this time, 50 Cent is going after Oprah Winfrey. In an interview with The Associated Press, 50 complained that Winfrey rarely invites rappers on her talk show: "I think she caters to older white women." "Oprah's audience is my audience's parents," the 29-year-old rapper said. "So, I could care less about Oprah or her show."

Winfrey's a phony. I'm glad other black entertainers are calling her out.

Well, I don't know who 50 Cent (is that a misprint?) is, and I don't really care anything about Oprah...

But I doubt she's worried.

I've really been wanting to hear fiddie's viewpoint about Oprah. I base many of my personal decisions on what gangsta' rappers are thinking. Thanks, Mercury News!

Fiddy Cent doesn't care about old white women.

And for this the media will champion him. When Kanye West erroneously made a similar statement about President Bush, Bush was labelled a racist.

I must be going dyslexic. I was cheering because I misread your headline as "50 Cent Offs Oprah Winfrey". I figured we be done with both of those twits.

Well she certainly didn't become a billionair catering to rapers [snicker]. Of course Opera [heehee] snuggles up to dumb, rich, white broads. Young and old.

Isn't that her audience? So she caters to them.

50 Cent is upset that 50 Mill didn't boost his career by pimping his albums on her show.

Has he tried calling Arsenio Hall? Or Byron Allen?

In defense of Oprah, she tries to have shows that are positive and uplifiting, and of some social value. (though they do seem kind of shallow)

So why would she want to have any rapper on her show? And why would any rapper want to be on her show? I mean being that they're "all that" and such.

Hey 50, what you've made or will make in your entire lifetime, is what Oprah made last year. You impertinent piker.

To 50 cent: Denial is not a river in Egypt. You say your music has nothing to do with drug abuse and violence by teens; that it is just entertainment.

I disagree. Back in the 80's when Madonna's 'entertainment became popular with teen girls, the girls tried to look and behave like her. Now they want to look and behave like Ms Spears and Ms Simpson.

Teens want to emulate the pop culture (American Idol).
Sports stars cause the same type of following ('be like Mike').

50 cent,.... you're 'stuck on stupid'.

We don't allow rap or Prah into our home. It's trashy racist stuff.

"But, as 50 Cent said, Winfrey's purported disapproval might enhance a rap star's street cred."

"I'm actually better off having friction with her," he said.

Oprah has the dream gig she is a cult leader to one of the most well off demographics in the world. While Fifty is living large he stands more chance of catching lead from some disgruntled competitor.

"When Kanye West erroneously made a similar statement about President Bush, Bush was labelled a racist."

Did you know that 50 Cent blasted Kanye West for that statement?
He came to the President defense, and said the hurricane was an act of God.

Also he has publicly supported Bush, saying how much he likes him, and how he supports the war on terror.

...his words were a bit more colorful than that, one thing he said as something like this..."I really like Bush, because he reminds me of me, and I respect him because he is a Gangsta like me."

I don't know if she's phoney or not. I don't read her that way. She comes across to me as about 1,000% more authentic than 97% of the politicians in DC.

I do know that she has helped more couples and more families have better, more constructive lives than probably all the politicians of the last umpteen years. She's been a tremendous educator for millions of below average, average and above average minorities as well as many millions of whites.

I will persistently commend her for that. Teaching idiots how to live more rationally and more lovingly of one another is no easy task. And I shall likely always commend her for her great success at it.

imho, she has earned every penny of her millions.
