Oh, thank you Geek. Sorry I messed up there. I was just coping and pasting and not paying attention.

Well.

Thanks for your comments, folks. I ain't no saint, just doing what we all do as a Chapel for the Chapel family and Friends of the Chapel.

I found out that if you really wanna take a nap, best not to announce it on a busy, well-lurked thread... lol!

I am up and at 'em! Had a great linguini/pesto thingy. Now I yearn for a porkchop and a Haiku:

Porkchop hiding in the fridge.
You'd be a great bridge.
Fork to mouth, spanning the space.

Awww..that was all my fault. I pinged you to that other post. I really wasn't trying to hide it and on top of that I posted without the podnotes. Maybe subcon---whatever--- I was jealous of the Elvis closing tune?

Still, it's nice to be found!

ARRRR!!!

A pork chop in the frying pan
hits the spot Sam I am
browned just right on both sides
tons of gravy dripping, slipping
all around,
Two inches thick stuffed inside
with apples and raisins, cornbread
on the side

Whoa, that's rich I would want one now
pork's the other white meat you know
don't taste like chicken though

Pork fat rules, and bacons just fine
I'll eat pork chops anytime.

I can't type as fast as you
Sometimes type without a clue.
Hear me now and hear me plain.
I'd eat porkchops in the rain.

I'm not a silly poet I'm sincere,
Hear me again. Hear, Hear, Hear.
Porkchops now are on my brain.
I'd eat porkchops without rain!!

There, there, I've done it again.
A well done porkchop is my friend.
I would not turn away red steak
But pink porchops are a big mistake.

The other white meat
chicken delight
fried nice and crispy
in a cast iron pan

Or chicken breasts (skinless of course)
slathered in mayonnaise and parmesan cheese
rolled in bread crumbs baked at 425 degrees
then served with more parmesan on the top
and fresh steamed asparagus with lemon wedge
fresh mushrooms sauteed in butter
oh my gosh this just makes me utter

Chicken, chicken chops and beef
oh by golly I do like to eat meat...

Now that I've witnessed your parlance of oink
I've turned my attentions now to fish goink.
Large slabs of scaleless skinless delight.
Yep. It's now a bass, be in my sight!

I've not had a bass
nor a trout in many a month
so now there's no doubt
the large mouth fellow
does not bellow in spite
of the size of his mouth

Whereas a rainbow from
a little brook is quite
delectable off the hook
grill with lemon wrapped in foil

served with a salad makes a gal
know how to bring 'em in on home
yes siree, man the tummies the path

to keeping a man home on the ground.

LOL

Ante freeze: Poker pro Rob Varkonyi (far left) places his bet during the Extreme Poker Tournament on the Arctic Sea ice of Kemi, Finland, where losing one's shirt can be fatal.

Been there? BRRRR!!

Porcine madness in the Lair
oinkers running everywhere
served with pancakes or grits
porkshops are the very best.

Smoke 'em, grill, fry 'em,
chill 'em, porks chops
on the plate, taters peeled
and seasoned just right

tossed into a baking pan
slap some butter to make them tan
roast those critters until they're crispy

golden brown ain't that nifty
porkchops on the platter
tell me that does not matter.

Not that far up Kathy. That would be up near the Arctic Circle and Lappland way. I went as far as Vassa on the Baltic Sea Coast. Shipping port. They refurbish the Carnival ships what a fabulous place. Finland the worlds best keep secret.
