I don't know. I grew up in Monmouth County and never heard the word "Hoagie" until I met someone from Philadelphia. We might have to have your DNA tested and see if you have roots in Philadelphia. You could be related to Ben Franklin.
Now, I'm wishing I hadn't tossed that billy bat away.

LOL! I take back the billy bat comment and from now on they're Hoagies to me. .
I have a vowel at the end of my name too, if that crazy rule applies. A,E,I,O,U, and sometimes Y.

So you do not need to buy a vowel?

> Guess we're neighbors :). I hear how busy it is on Sundays, specially since it's only a ridge or two over.Cherry Ridge, right? I just joined this past weekend. Then came home and joined the NRA the same day. After seeing those poor citizens in Louisiana being "relieved of" their guns by the police, while there were armed gangs of rapists and robbers and murderers roaming that city, I decided that enough was enough. Put in my paperwork last fall and am now shopping for my first arms.
And none too soon, either -- have you seen this? New Jersey attempts to violate the Constitution yet again. Yet I don't lose hope -- I really do thing the pendulum is swinging back.

So Vanna, your last name is Whit
e? That doesn't count.
Funny thing, I was in Minneapolis last year and there's a Jersey Mike's there. And there's at least one in Western PA. New Jersey culture is expanding west.

New Jersey is a major seaport state with the largest seaport in the US, located in Elizabeth. Nearly 80 percent of what our nation imports comes through Elizabeth Seaport first. 80% of our nation's imports transit thru Elizabeth Seaport? That's a stretch ... how about the Port of Seattle? Portland? Long Beach-LA? Baltimore? Charleston? Miami? Galveston?
NJ proponents are getting carried away with their grandiose claims.

New Jersey has the most diners in the world and is sometimes referred to as the "Diner Capital of the World." I miss those diners. Waffle House can't hold a candle to a New Jersey diner!
