It's not true either you do or you don't....
One to two percent men in all societies are gay...most cultures have a way for them to live without disrupting the rest of society...(Hairdressers, entertainment, etc)
But when there are no women, men will turn to other ways of sexual release...so you hear stories about army barracks, ships, prisons, monasteries, boarding schools etc...
And the jokes about shepherds and the sheep are probably ancient...
Most every man is capable of taking the situation in hand, if you get my drift. His own hand. Anything else is a decision as well. You either do or you don't.
