A man who helped make famous the songs "YMCA" and "In the Navy" will soon be featured on the television show "America's Most Wanted," after failing to appear in a San Mateo County courtroom for his sentencing in October, according to San Mateo County Deputy District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.

Willis was found to be in possession of 3.23 grams of cocaine and a loaded .45-gauge, semi-automatic handgun, according to the district attorney's office...

A 45-gauge semi-automatic handgun! Hmm, I wonder what a 45-gauge works out to be in caliber? At least it's somewhat better that the Atlanta MSM types in the wake of the Brian Nichols rampage, who described his captured Glock-22 as a 40 mm. handgun!! I can't even imagine the recoil would be on a 40mm Glock - a real hand cannon! Those cartridges must cost 5 dollars each. Oy!

Whoa - anyone who can carry a 45-gauge handgun is nobody to be messed with.LOL!
But wouldn't a larger gauge mean a smaller pellet? May not have that much of punch at all.
Reminds me of the dialogue between Jerry Seinfeld and George Costanza in the back of a police car.
"That's probably a 12 gauge."
"Yea, makes the 11 gauge look like a popgun."

Willis was found to be in possession of ... a loaded .45-gauge, semi-automatic handgun, I guess that's the weapon of choice for a "macho-man".

".45-gauge, semi-automatic handgun,"
.45 inches... the average diameter size of a typical anti-gun reporter's brain.

But wouldn't a larger gauge mean a smaller pellet? No. A numerically "larger" gauge means a smaller bore diameter on shotguns. It is based on the number of lead balls it takes to make a pound, (12 - 12 gauge balls makes a pound, 20 - 20 gauge balls makes a pound), etc. The exeption is the .410 shotgun which is the bore diameter in inches.
