This gave me a good chuckle. :-)
What neat gifts for your new son and daughter in-laws! The one for your daughter in-law sounds really pretty.
Cats have their ways.
What a nice thing for the grandmother to do.
If I didn't have do seams, I would knit a lot more!
I have to tell you, I am loving this thread of yours but I am worried I won't be able to save info from it or check in as often as I'd like. And with the cold weather rolling in all around us, it is prime afghan-making weather. I can't stand to work on big things on my lap when it's warm outside.
Then you need to design without seams!
I have keyworded knitting, crochet, tatting, xstitch, needlepoint, weaving, embroidery I think in every single one of these threads. I haven't tried to search for them, but that, and "vast right wing knitting" ought to help you pull them up.
You can also hit 'Bookmark', which will send it to your links page; very handy.
some crocheted afghan patterns:

Thanks! I'll try those methods.
I must plead nescience about bookmarks. Is that the same as adding it to the favorite links?
At the top of every thread, in message 1 is a line that says: Bookmark Report Abuse.
If you click on Bookmark, it will offer to add it to the bookmarks on your public profile (a/k/a your Freeper homepage). If you hit the other one, sometimes you get viking kitties, sometimes an irritated mod.
If you go to your Freeper homepage, you will see on the top several things to click on. One of these is links. Those links are the links from threads you have bookmarked.
Now you can add threads to your regular browser bookmarks too. If you are using IE, you add it to your favorites. That way, you wouldn't have to be in FR to get to it.
hope this helps!
Now I get it! Thank you! It's like you've walked me through kitchener all over again. :-)
