This country has Amber alerts for missing children and I think it is time to have Freeper alerts when one of our Freepers has quit posting with out any reason that we know of. Case in point, Freeper Freetrapper was a very active poster untill 9 months ago and we have heard nothing since. This worries me as he was in pain but I do not know what from.Freetrapper was an outdoorsman beyond most peoples dreams.

If you respond to this thread please ping freetrapper, that will enhance any google search later and maybe we can find out if he is ok. If you like , do a FR search on freetrappers post, you will find he is a very likeable guy and not one to just up and leave, he posted nearly every day but at least weakly for over three years and never a harsh word to anyone.

Every FReeper needs a FReeper buddy who knows real name, phone number, etc.

I think I'll instruct my husband to put my FReeper name in my obituary in the event of my untimely demise, so I can be googled. And I probably ought to teach him how to log on and who to Ping on the Undead Thread to let them know.

Not that I plan on demising any time soon, but... one never knows.

Freetrapper was not big on politics, just and outdoor guy that loved to fish and hunt. He would tell stories about noodling catfish, along with his son, so I know he was not alone. He invited me and other freepers to his home to go fishing but only by freepmail, no land line.

Do a Google advanced search. There are parameters that can cut through the hay and get you closer to the needle.

Noodling catfish is a fascinating subject. I don't know if everybody knows about it, but it would make an interesting thread. And maybe even PETA would be interested because no hooks are involved.

Noodling Catfish is going to be to X as ridge running White Lightning was to NASCAR. I am not sure what X is, but it certainly is not for the squeamish leftist sissies.

Interesting as I've been thinking of the same thing. Some Freepers have probably just slipped away unnoticed after their demise. I'm not a spark, mover or shaker here (SAF though) but contribute and have fun on this my home forum.
Hopefully , our FRiend is doing well and just enjoying a break to restore his BP and recharge in the great out-of-doors.
I'm sure he appreciates the thoughts behind this inquiry too.

The reason I remember not hearing from freetrapper was on the last big catfish thread about it drying on the way to the aquarium in Kansas, he never responded, he always responds to catfish threads.

Speaking of missing FReepers, I haven't seen MeekOneGOP or his previous handle of MeeknMing post in a long time. He used to maintain the Texas ping list. I think he is a College student, so maybe he just got too busy to do the Texas ping list anymore.

May be as simple as a computer broke down and limited funds to replace or repair......not to belittle the concern but I will stop posting at age 74 so don't fret bout me after that !
