LUBBOCK, Texas - No one dislikes the 3-point shot more than Texas Tech coach Bob Knight and a few weeks ago he even derided Darryl Doras ability from that range.

There was no knocking Dora on Monday night after his 3 with 3.6 seconds remaining in the second overtime gave the Red Raiders an 80-79 victory over No. 2 Kansas.
He shot a little better tonight, that one time, Knight said of Dora, who entered the game 9-for-23 from beyond the arc. We must have coached him a little bit better this week.
It was the first loss in the Big 12 this season and just the second overall for the Jayhawks.
A desperation shot by Aaron Miles bounced off the backboard as the buzzer sounded and the fans flooded the court and began to chant Bobby, Bobby, for Knight, who beat Kansas for the first time in his four seasons at Texas Tech. It improved the Red Raiders all-time record against Kansas to 2-15.

It's looking to be one of the BEST NCAA tourneys in a long time. There are 15 or so, give or take, teams that could easily go all the way..and wouldn't surprise me...I think seeding, and bracket, are going to be very important..you'll hear lots of screams on selection day..
Go Zags (that's Gonzaga for those in Rio Lawrence...)
Great story, and I loved it that Pew stayed there...turned down bigger $$$ to move..they paly a marvelous team ball, but this year they don't make by 15 possibles....they just don't have enough size, and real impact players....right now..list your top ten teams to go all the way...doesn't have to be in order..
They are ranked #13, and rising. They'll make the final 8, IMO.
Rankings don't mean a thing, happily..unlike the BCS...the tourney decides..
Just finished spending some time in Lawrence for work, it doesn't seem nearly as bad as Iowa City, Madison,WI or even Columbia,MO.
The town went into official mourning when the Kerry/Edwards train sped by instead of stopping at 1:00 AM in the morning. There were thousands of people waiting at the station. For a small city, it's very indicative of the commie scum that live there.
I don't doubt that. These big college towns are all like that. I was kinda amazed at how liberal Missoula, MT is even.
