Pamela Rogers Turner was charged this week with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape.
Turner teaches and coaches at Centertown Elementary School in McMinnville.
Prosecutor Dale Potter said some of the incidents were alleged to have taken place at the school, others at the student's home.
Potter said his office intends to prosecute the case to the fullest extent possible because it involves a child.

Not that it makes any difference, but wow! She's cute.
ahem, it's still wrong of course.
Any pictures out there?
Well, when the norms of what is and what is not sexually appropriate are compromised as they have been, how can you NOT expect things like this to happen.
It's wrong but when I was 14 I was in love with several of my teachers. Where was she?
Since I'm now 51 she wasn't born yet!
"She's cute."
And always on the job, too, judging from the charges against her.
She looks like a prettier Britney Spears.
In this day and age, the kid probably has a few other notches under his belt already.
She looks related to the Florida hottie who was boinking the 15 year olds. Maybe they'll share a cell for a good long time.
A lot of these stories in the last few years....alas ...I was born in the wrong generation.
wow. you could put an eye out that way . . .
We were pretty freaked out.
On the other hand, were I a 14 y.o. student of Ms. Turners I might likewise find myself distracted.
What really stood out to me in the picture was the 69 pointing at her head.
They didn't have teachers looking like that when I went to school!
very observant grasshoppah! that is weird.
I am ashamed that I didn't notice that.
Measurement in centimeters?
Damn, where was she when I was in school?
I took it for instructions.
They said she was a "coach". Well...?
I dreamed of this happening to me with my 8th grade english teacher, Ms. Lortz.. Man, was she a knock-out. I guess she's retired by now...

Looks like she's 5' 11". That's pretty tall.
I'm thinking that in these cases that eventually the....ahem...."victim" ...can't hold it in any longer and has to tell someone...then the cat gets let out of the bag and the "tutoring" comes to a grinding halt.
That poor guy just got owned!
Wow..that has to be harsh...finding out that your wife cheated on you with a 14 year old.
Extra Credit is cool.
It ain't bragging if...
Yep...very HARSH...
Damn, that was almost perfect.
Therein lies the root of the double standard.
Annulment time.

When does this major scandal hit the fan, like the Catholic priests scandal? Obviously there are hundreds if not thousands of cases like this happening around the country, not 20 or 30 years ago, but right now.
Public school administrations are harboring sexual predators in a neighborhood near you.
ping for my wife...I told her it was epidemic.
Can you get an annulment after 18 months of marriage?
did you really mean to say: "therein lies the root..."
Is this a Freudian Slip or am I over amped by this story?
What if... just what IF that boy is lying???? This has been known to happen. Teenage boy makes up story and gets pals to go along with it, to get even with a teacher and so forth.

McMINNVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Warren County elementary teacher has been charged with having a consensual sexual relationship with one of her students, a 13-year-old boy.
Pamela Rogers Turner, 27, was charged Monday with 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape. All the charges involved the same boy.
Turner teaches physical education and coached girls basketball at Centertown Elementary, a Warren County school with grades kindergarten through eight in McMinnville.
District Attorney General Dale Potter said investigators believe some of the offenses happened at the school and some at the boy's home.
Turner lived at the boy's house "for a brief period of time when she was moving from residence to residence," Potter said Tuesday. The boy's parents knew she was living there but didn't know anything about a sexual relationship, Potter said.
Potter declined to comment on the nature of the relationship between Turner and her student, but he said investigators discovered multiple acts of sexual intercourse.
"It's attracting attention because it's a female teacher, and that's a little out of the ordinary," Potter said. "But for us, a sex abuse case is a sex abuse case."
Turner was recently divorced from Chris Turner, who is the head boys basketball coach at Warren County High School, according to the Southern Standard newspaper in McMinnville.
Turner was arrested Monday in Clarkrange, her hometown in Fentress County about 55 miles northeast of McMinnville, Potter said.
Conviction on all counts could be punished by up to 100 years in prison. But Potter said it was more likely that a conviction would mean a minimum of a year to several years in prison.
Arraignment was set for Feb. 23.
Per the above video link, she was the WWF Miss Nitro in 1997.
100 years in prison sounds about right (what, no death sentence?)
As a 16 year old?
If she's 27 now that would make her around 19 or 20 in '97.
