"...And, yes, I would rather see a salary cap in baseball than
no salary cap in f-ball...."
On that, at least, we agree.
Got to go crash. Be talking to you. Later.
Go Cowboys.
Good points, Doc. Steve Young was (or is) part of a consort-
ium interested in securing a franchise. There would be a
lot of support for a buyout of SF involving Young (as if the
fans mattered in pro sports).
I think the Lions deserve an ownership buy-out more than the 49ers. Five years under the Yorks is no fun, but the Lions have been lost in the desert under the Fords for roughly as long as Moses was....
That's actually not true....that bill was paid in the late 90s. Muuch and Walsh turned in two good seasons a few years back then York started screwing everything up and now you have to pay for bad salary choices again.
Good news, but hopefully his replacement will do better.
The Carroll rumor is interesting, but Erickson too has a great college coaching record before tanking in the NFL.
The friggin' owner needs to be replaced. Bring back Mariucci and the LOST TALENT.
I'd love to have Mooch back.
Do you mean to tell me that only one ownership buyout is
permitted at a time? Don't think so.
No way. As a long suffering resident of the St Louis area, I know that there is no owner more inept as Bidwell of the famous bow tie.
All of you Arizona residents, my condolences. I was mad as hell when he moved them to Phoenix, but now we have the Rams and a Super Bowl victory.
Actually because of Mn drubbing the cheese heads today, it is StL at Atl and Mn at Phil next week.
Not having a dog in this fight, all I can say is let the bloodletting begin. I would love to see the Vikes eek out win. The rams/Falcons game will be entertaining. A Rams win would help Issac Bruce a step closer to another ring. Anothe ring for a former Tiger from the University of Memphis.
