My other color experience is with appys as a kid, and I think they are even more of a gamble to predict what you are going to get.

FWIW...there's a Yahoo group that 'specializes' in apps. (the Appaloosa Project) I'm on the mailing list, but it's so darned 'technical' I'm 'lost'. LOL. Signed up for it to try and figure out 'what kind' of app Rei is.

Yes he is. I just got out his papers to figure his age, I can't ever keep up with that stuff. I'm still in shock. I just would never have thought he had gotten that old. 17.

I was thinking more along 14-15.

Now I'm going to start worrying about him:) I do think he's ageing well tho. Little guy can still turn a barrel with the best of em.

I'm going to check it out - The Appaloosa Project. I've spent a lot of years searching everything I can find on Appaloosa genetics so this will be great.

He hasn't been over-used, but he's been kept in shape. I don't think he's ready for the home yet ;~D

I thought she was in a very bad mood for some reason but as soon as he left deaconjim took her for a walk (leading) and then felt her belly etc and she was as calm as she could be...........strange.
