I finally had the patience to sift through my email this morning and thought this one was cute enough to pass on.

Subject: Funeral Procession

A woman was leaving a convenience store with her morning coffee when she noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery.

A long black hearse was followed by a second long black hearse about 50 feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary woman walking a pit bull on a leash. Behind her, a short distance back, were about 200 women walking single file.

The woman was so curious that she respectfully approached the woman with the dog and said, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I have never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?"

"My husband's."

"What happened to him?"

The woman replied, "My dog attacked and killed him."

She inquired further, "Well, who is in the second hearse?"

The woman answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my husband when the dog turned on her."

A poignant and thoughtful moment of silence passed between the two women.

"Can I borrow the dog?"

"Get in line."

.

Woman's Prayer:
Dear Lord, I pray for:
Wisdom, To understand my man.
Love, To forgive him, and;
Patience, For his moods.
Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength
I'll just beat him to death.

That doesn't surprise me the left had gotten their talking points from the MM movie. Speaking of MM, I happend to see a Showtime free preview weekend a couple weeks ago and tortured myself by watching Bowling For Columbine. I hadn't seen that movie, and if there had been something decent to watch that night I might not have tempted myself to watch it.

Just like anything remotely connected to MM, it was a PACK OF EFFEN LIES !!!

HAH!!! Do hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving though. :)

Me? Well, I'm headed to my sister and brother-in-laws, as are my folks. Should be an interesting 4 hour drive. Me and the folks two little dogs we nicknamed "the boys" all sharing the backseat of the car. Good thing they're both lapdogs or I would refuse to go. LOL!!!

They have a Westie Terrier and a Corgie. They both like to ride in the car, but the Westie starts crying and getting excited when he sees vehicles drive by, or if we go through a big town seeing all the people walking on the sidewalk. He can't help it, he's just a people dog. LMAO!!!

Sounds like you'll be having fun road tripping *L*

I need to get a lapdog

My dog has really bad arthritis in her hips and can't get around that well these days and has gained alot of weight because of it.

Well last night, she some how managed to go down the steps to the basement ... but then couldn't get back up and proceeded to howl REALLY loud

I had to wake up Mr. Mo1 at 3am to go carry her back up the steps
