Look at how biased this is! My children just went to this site and I was shocked at how our president was represented. George Bush looks dark skinned and if you notice his teeth are also darker than Kerrys. Then you read the "Bio's" - remember this is written for children to understand.... and is supposed to be unbiased..

George is a the "oldest son of Bush41" (What the Hell is this?) He is a "tough-talkin, straight-shootin, Texas two-steppin Commander in Chief that is takin up the GOP's call for "Four more Years"...

Texas Two steppin?? My kids did NOT even understand the term "Commander in Chief", they wondered about "Straight-shootin" and asked what "GOP's" meant.

They purposefully made this confusing!! And it is written in that hillbilly script with everything ending in "in".

Now go to Kerry... His picture is white and bright and his teeth are even a few shades brighter! And his bio uses key words to make him somehow seem.. better.

"Kerry has been the Democratic Senator from Mass- (No DNC, so slang word for Senator - very straight forward here) "since winning" (WINNING note that word) "his first race there in 1984." "This highly-decorated Vietnam Vet and multimillionaire.." It goes on and on...But it clearly makes hom seem like the logical choice.

I am so sick of this crap. At every level. Take a look at the link and tell me what you think. Am I off my rocker for being annoyed at this, or as usual, is the biased media (even at this level) up to its usual tricks!

not to mention the ending...

"... he's just the man for the job."

With the short attention span of kids, this last line is all they will remember by the time they click to the next page to "vote."

My kids already know Kerry's a "weak-talkin, U.N.-lovin, back-stabbin, tax-raisin, phony medal-winnin, baby killin, Massachusetts two-timin Commander in Chief wannabe Girlie Man that is takin up the DNC's call for more lies, hypocrisy and brain-washin Kool-Aid for the masses of scumbag, idiot, goons (better known as the common voters)."

It's crap. They call Kerry a multi-millionaire. He's a billionaire (courtesy of his rich wife who inherited her money by marrying an heir to a big American company).

It says that Kerry is a highly decorated veteran but does not tell kids that he threw those medals/ribbons away in disgust at his government.

This site is also horrid for saying that John Kerry wants to be the KING of the West Wing. We don't elect kings in America.

There is also a blog:

CBS-VIACOM-Nickelodeon is BAD for kids.

I am very upset about this. To take away the children's choices by DU's, and FR's for that matter, is just downright wrong. What values are we teaching our children?

I have been using this election as a great method of letting my children experience politics. Then, of course, the dreadful picture of Bush that popped up and the terrible description to boot. I had to explain the entire description to my daughters, and explain how grown-ups are taking over a childrens' election. I could see they were upset. All 3 said, "but this is for us, grown ups get to vote in November".

I think Nick should have stuck with Cartoon Networks election plans. They are running elections with cartoon characters. Maybe that would have kept the adults out.

I saw the show early am on Nick. They painted both in a pretty fair picture...then they had kids'that are supporting each, voicing their opinions. The "Kids' for Bush" spoke very factual...they were very well informed. When the kids for sKerry talked...it was almost all DNC talking points. Plain ol' bad mouthing Bush. That was really pathetic.

I missed that this morning. It is so disappointing to hear that the children were so used. It could have been a great thing to see the youth learn and grow, but I'm afraid these types of experiences will set a trend for dishonesty and cheating.
