Do like millions of illegal aliens do. Go the your local emergency room and demand/get free everything. Of course, you'll have to wait in line behind them first.
Good luck.
Good luck.
I wish you luck, I mean it.
I have been right there to. I had a very slow growing tumor on the 8th cranial nerve and I have insurance go to www.ehealthinsurance.com and get some quotes
I'm not sure but with a pre-existant condition you're going to have a tough time. Keep very detailed medical records and at some future point it may get easier. My mother-in-law had a heck of a time with BC/BS because of previous heart problems, but after some time with no further problems things got better. Best wishes and God bless.
It is going to be tough. A group policy will accept you, but they will probably institute a 1 or 2 year wait for treatment of an existing condition and you would have to gain full time employment with a company offering the benefit. I wish you luck. My cousin at 34 had a brain tumor removed, which was around 2 years ago. He has been doing great since.
Try the Blue Cross individual coverage.
This is no joke - unintended consequence I guess ...
Don't hold me to this, but here goes.
I believe Ohio has a law requiring insurance companies to have open enrollment. That is an opportunity for individuals who have pre-existing conditions to obtain insurance during a very short enrollment period (1 to 2 weeks, possibly a couple times a year). The cost is high; however, being able to obtain coverage is the key.
Your state might have a similar law. Hope this helps.
Need more info,employed,self employed,on ssi?
If not a vet, you may have a problem getting immediate coverage for a pre-exiting condition. Some insurance cos. require 12-18 months before they will cover such.
You may look into "catastophic coverage." Kicks in after $5K or more of medical expenses. Some of these companies specialize in small business folks. Lower premiums.
If in fact you find a major insurer (and thus reputable) that will insure you, get ready to write a healthy check...And premium depends not only on your health and health history, but on your credit score, employment history, etc.
Lastly? GOOD LUCK!
Hmm,the quotes look good with a 1k to 5k deductable. Of course it didn't ask for any other information besides my age, sex, smoking . . . I better investigate or rely on my job or my wifes job to help. My cost so far this year has been $60,000. Maybe it's time to look into holistic health.
States typically have pooled health policies available for situations exactly like yours. If they have one, and I'm not sure if they do, you can buy it directly from the state, or maybe through a health insurance broker. He will recieve a nominal commission, but your premium will be the same, and he/she will help with that obnoxious paperwork.
The premiums will be as reasonable as any normal policy, and coverage will be comparable also.
Best of luck to you.
Not just illegal aliens, millions of Americans go to their local emergency rooms to receive top notch state of the art care and not shell out a single penny to pay for it.
God Bless you and good luck.
