New York voters. Your vote means nothing, since Kerry is so far ahead. I plan to WRITE IN Rudy. Not that he will win, of course, but I'm hoping that he gets enough write in votes to give him a boost for 2008. Think about it. Makes sense.
*sniff sniff*
Hmmm
NOPE Z WORD?
And there you have it.
Yeah... I smell it too!
Sheesh, you trolls are everyfreepin where tonite.
how are you a member since TOMORROW? it's still 9/10 on the EAST coast... unless you're one of those european wankers who'd loe to have a sissy in the oval office.
Sad. It's sad that a newbie's first act on FR is to post an inane vanity.
Fatboy?
Michael Moore??????
IS THAT YOU?????
Now you see how we feel.
Not really.
An important aspect of this election is for Bush to win the popular vote as well as the electoral vote - by that standard, every vote is important.
We need it to be a blowout... especially on the East Coast. An early call of FL, PA and OH for Bush will depress the Dems GOTV efforts on the West Coast - which may be enough for Republicans to take over Senate seats in WA, OR, CA, and NV.
Every vote counts!
Bill?
Makes plenty of sense, if you want to depress the popular vote for Bush, risking a replay of '00 and what followed. No thank you.
Good point. I AM a Bush supporter, but I'm trying to make the best of my vote under the circumstances. And if I've breached some etiquette or procedure, I'm sorry, but this is the first thing I've posted.
I'm not gonna do it. I don't want to take any chance of the popular vote being greater than the electoral vote, and having another 2000. Besides, I can't wait to cast my vote for W.
My first thought too! The comment and the name seemed to go together. Ignorant and blubbery.
No shit Sherlock!
You are a Bush supporter?
So you SAW Rudy do a tremendous job at the RNC then?
You think Rudy wants you to 'write in'?
Yes- I saw it and it was great. But I'm pretty sure Rudy is interested in 08. I've been following him since his pre-mayor days and he's a good man. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a little shot in the arm.
The way things are going, Bush could take New York.
Sorry, no way. Too many idiots (including all of my family)
Rudy spoke at the RNC urging support for President Bush.
A resounding return to the Oval Office of President Bush would be a shot in the arm for Rudy.
A place in the Senate...unseating Hitlery! (Which is VERY POSSIBLE) would be a shot in the arm for Rudy!
Focus on electing a Republican President NOW.
Damage the Dems morale at its core.
Everything else will fall in line.
I hear you. And if that witch gets elected in 08 I will move to Venus. That's another reason I got the Rudy idea, since he could very well be her opponent.
Hillary hasn't a hope of being President.
She's universally hated.
You never know. I think a lot of people in New York talk Democrat but vote Republican. We have a 3-term GOP governor and 3 terms of GOP mayors of NYC.
Gotta disagree with you on that. Although I think she is the devil, you'd be surprised how many of my liberal friends LOVE her. And these are (otherwise) intelligent people. I can't even talk to them about this.
Well you live in NY.
I live in Ireland. Socialist Europe.
She's not liked.
In fact, she's despised.
There lies the difference.
She's a liberal, unliked in a socialist land.
Figure me that one, Einstein?
Can't explain it. Unless you guys just hate all of us :)
Theyy do this everytime something big happens that makes the Democrats look bad and/or the Republicans look good. The capture of Saddam, the Republican convention, the memos discovered to be forgeries, etc.
Hell no!
NYC is one of my favourite places on the planet.
It's a great, and vital city.
I love New York.
From the first time I set foot there.
You can keep Boston.
But New York?
GREAT, GREAT city! And tremendous people.
Whats your screen name over at DU?
I love it too. And I am lucky enough to have great friends and family. But it's like they've programmed to hate Republicans and all common sense goes out the window when the topic comes up. I was actually discussing (READ:arguing) about the war with someone who complained that those f$%$%%ing Republicans sent all those kids to war without body armor! So I said that's because Kerry voted against funding it. She changed the subject. I gotta stop talking about this. I'm getting a stomach ache!
Oh, keep talking to them like that!
For every stomach ache you get...you give a dozen libs haemhorroids! ;-)
They better not be drinking again.
It gets worse. I was having dinner with my crazy Aunt recently and she started complaining that there was a "breakdown" in communication after the 2 planes hit the towers and that somehow we should have been better prepared to shoot down the 3rd plane. Oh sure- like ANYONE would ever give THAT order given the unprecedented event that transpired a few minutes before. And can you imagine the hysteria had it actually been done? The editors at the Times would have had to change their underwear.
But Kerry complaining about the 7 minutes that went by when W kept reading to the kids is even worse. What the hell was he supposed to do? Change into his Superman cape and catch the 3rd plane by himself?????
I can't stand it.
(and I now have a WORSE stomach ache) :)
???
What's DU?
Damn kitties are sleeping on the job.
If you're trying to confuse me you've succeded. I really don't know what you're talking about.
You'll find out later.
Heeeeeeeeeere kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty.
Fine. I give up. You win. I'm going to bed.
My vote means something you twit, and if you actually BOTHERED to do some MINOR fact checking -at least more than CBS did- you'd know that Kerry is behind and doing quite well at killing his campaign on his own.
You must be easily confused.
Especially for a guy who signs upon a conservative board and then proceeds to tell people "Don't vote because your vote is worthless! Kerry will win!"
But hey, you didn't bother checking any facts first before posting this thread, so you were confused LONG before lowbridge spoke to you.
" I AM a Bush supporter."
Yeah, whatever, doesn't square with what you said in the 'article' you wrote.
"New York voters. Your vote means nothing, since Kerry is so far ahead."
