verrry interesting graphic. Looks like water flowing up the ramps to the waterfall.

Yes, but if you look at the water on the ramps, it could be flowing uphill and then pouring off the edge as the waterfall. Maybe I just have a warped way of looking at things.

From Thread sixteen:
"...I tried greasing the pole and the wires where the birdfeeders were hanging with vaseline yesterday afternoon. No takers yesterday, but this moring I got up and looked out my kitchen window to see a befuddled looking squirrel shaking his paws. I'm guessing he tried to shimmy across the wire where the feeder was hanging above the patio. Then, later this afternoon, I saw one of them sizing up the pole in the yard with the two feeders on it. He took a flying leap and grabbed the pole and went spinning around till he let go. ROTFL! It was hilarious."
Alllllrighty. Yea !!!! FOFLOL. Sounds like its working, or was. Did he/it figure out a way around the greased pole ?

They're clever little devils but as long as the poles have a good thick coating I'd be surprised if they're able to overcome it.

These birds I encountered in the mountains around Mammoth Lakes were apparently unafraid of people or dogs either. Very curious birds, it seemed.

Don't even talk to me about phone company incompetence! I finally called this morning and raised enough h*ll with a supervisor that they credited my account for a full month of services. Well, duh! Seems only right since I have had OVER a month with none of these services! I still don't have my dsl modem, which I was promised last week and then on Saturday because they were going to overnight it. I still don't have voice mail and I still don't have long distance service. I expect now that it will get taken care of since it is starting to cost them money.

Amen!...but only because you don't stop and re-live all the memories with each bale of hay.
We will be upgrading to an assisted living facility by August 1, so the adventure known as life, continues for my father (and the rest of us.)
