Yes racism exists, but I believe most racism against black is either self inflicted (e.g. scott adams) or professional victims where everything is just racist.
That said I know in the 90's blacks would make sure they left Arab Alabama before sundown for their safety, not sure if that's still the case.

Proof of actual racism in the US. The covered-up racism in the black community against darker skins blacks. Colorism is real but unacknowledged.
I remember reading of blacks on vacation and going to Africa. They would weep when visiting the Slave Pens, wail at the Door of No Return. They when the vacation was over, hop back on the air conditioned aircraft and come back to the “racist” USA. None wanted to stay in the “Mother Country!”

People have noted, that these new emigrants or exiles are still tied to the US by working for US companies or foundations or having income from the US.
I doubt it’s racism that makes them leave. More likely, it’s the discomfort associated with always being a part of a minority. If Biden gets another term, soon enough Whites will be feeling it too.
Move to a different country, though, and you will be a minority there. If enough of you move there, you won’t be able to blend in easily, and you won’t be an especially beloved minority either.
