Two of the actual Black Panther founders went on to support Reagan in the 80s.
I know. Forgot the /s.
SMH
Money for nothing and some Fanny for free.
Well the judge said he’d review the texts with merchant after the trial. The problem is if he disregards them and dismissed the case, because those texts are going to be released and he knows it.
“The vast majority of anti-Trump people had nothing to do with Black Panthers.”
You know anything about South Africa? Anti white militants from the Mandela apartheid era would absolutely have a deep set hate for any white leader including Trump and would naturally pass it down to their children.
I didn’t make any connections with the Black Panthers at all. Someone else did.
But what I found interesting was he claimed to listen to “conservative radio”. I call bullshit, anyone who fought for Mandela would NOT listen to conservative radio for very long. It would be like fingernails on a chalkboard...
“Well the judge said he’d review the texts with merchant after the trial.”
Yes, he did initially say that. Then wade opened the door to allow more of those to be introduced as evidence and discussed.
It is going to be interesting for sure... :)
“Two of the actual Black Panther founders went on to support Reagan in the 80s.”
Wow, there were two adults in the room... Lol
The Daddy retired to South Africa...
Had to leave for some reason...
“”Her father was an activist and direct support for Nelson Mandela in South Africa.””
I only caught snippets of his remarks about Mandela and South Africa. I had trouble catching up and then it all wasn’t covered on cable TV so I have no idea what happened the rest of the day.
I think I got that the father was also an attorney. He was very respectful to all the attorneys and the judge and did mention something about a fellowship at Harvard???
Sure is odd to hear two blacks talk about the NEED for blacks to always keep CASH on hand. She didn’t stress the need for the race as much as her dad did. Is that why there’s so much black on black crime - some think other blacks are carrying a lot of cash? CRAZY, I know!
I missed whatever Governor Barnes was going to testify to. Coverage was pretty spasmodic.
“Hang the DJ…Hang the DJ…Hang the DJ….”
Yeah, I think this summer is going to be filled with the media/deep state freaking out about how their strongest case went to shite.
I don’t see how this can continue.
What did he LIE about??
“”The Daddy retired to South Africa...””
I wondered about that but like I’ve said, I didn’t catch much at all today - lots of interruptions and then breaking news cut out whatever was happening in the courtroom, I guess.
I thought I did hear him or an attorney say something about “returning” and I wondered what that meant...
It was so broken up during the hours I was able to watch so I have no idea what was going on.
Is it over with except for a decision? Did they wind it up?
“”What did he LIE about??””
I’m curious also.
Most bar exams are easier than the CPA exam.
He went out there years ago to help Nelson Mandela when he was in prison...
That should explain Dear Daddy
he was explaining why Fani had thousands of dollars in her house instead of the bank
Fani had said Daddy told her to do that
Daddy said he did that because “Its a black thing”
No he did it because he was a criminal and hiding money...
He was a Black Panther according to him...

Yes, he claimed he also had some doings with Harvard. But one thing I do actually understand is the need to have cash especially many years ago as black.
He explained a very real reality from 40 years ago. He was out of state with his family and they ate out at a restaurant. The cashier would not take his american express, his Visa, or even traveler’s checks because they were black. So he happen to have just enough cash to cover the meal.
I have been in this situation myself as a native american. I CANNOT go anywhere without cash in my pocket or I can get slammed with the exact same situation. So considering the era it happened, and the lesson learned from it, I believe this to be absolutely true.
Aside from the fact I personally HATE digital and think that if we do not slam them with cash instead we are going to be in serious trouble very soon.
But... Is this the true situation with her? I doubt it, she is lying... There are records somewhere but they have to present enough of a case to the judge to get a warrant to get those records because of her position as the DA.
Smith’s reference appreciated.
I have known many non criminal types who have cash on hand.
