That would explain it following the pan of the camera and appearing at a constant distance. But what accounts for it going in and out of frame? Is it a floater like you get in your eyes?
It's usually a fungus and it could slide, like when you have dust sliding along the lens of your eye.
When the technicians recharged the nitrogen (or argon) used to keep moisture out of the lens in order to prevent fogging, they either didn't get all the moisture out or inadvertently added some in.

I saw that earlier today.
Videos all over the planet showing similar looking objects. Reminds me of something that recorded in the US where a guy made a giant floating “art thing” of skinny balloons but an up close shot verified it.
This is something else...
And I just migrates from Plex to JellyFin and now this thing is buzzing military bases and farm fields!

There are strange things. My brother told me he was sailing in his sloop along the coast of St. Johns in the VI in bright moonlight in the later part of the last century. He went forward to do something with the jib and saw a cloud of water particle rise out of the ocean, coalesce into a tight ball and very rapidly fly off out of sight. He said he never heard anyone else describe something like that but swears he saw it.
