Democrat logic, your brains are not developed enough to drink alcohol or for you to go to war, but you are old enough to make permeant life changing decisions when they are most likely going to keep democrats in power.
They can vote only in local municipal elections.

Teachers could influence their students to vote for certain people and not others, or vote for certain referenda that affects them..................

II’m sure it’s more about getting more mail-in ballots out there than extending the franchise to DC’s yoots.
That would be in their first election. When the second cycle rolls around, they’re over 18. They would then be on the roles for general elections.
