I carry a spare because sometimes the primary gets messed up when I hammer a Wanted poster to the town bulletin board.

A simple car breakdown,flat tire,or stop for gas can easily become an attack from a feral mob, all armed, none interested in calling the police,all with the I’ve already got a criminal record and don’t care attitude. Don’t be a victim surrounded by twenty armed assailants carry extra magazines, lots of them.
