Did you see the video of a cop in St. Louis saving a woman who was about to have her throat cut?

He got out of the car and emptied the entire 17 round magazine in the perp. The guy was on the ground and was still trying to attack with his knife.

This is only one of many videos on Twitter showing cops making Swiss cheese out of someone high on drugs.

I like revolvers a lot but unless you’re Jerry Miculek the low capacity could be a problem.

My S&W hammerless air weight has five, and with one of those speed loaders is fine for me…..hammerless, in the hoodie pocket , ( the style now a days) insures 5 shots close without ever bringing it to light…however it will cost a new hoodie.

I’ve wondered about this. Most of us think in terms of a single encounter with a criminal. With what’s entering our country, we might want to consider being in a situation where there are multiple aggressors. In which case, you might want to have re-load capability.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned that many of the pistol malfunctions are due to a defective magazine.

Another magazine is a better deal than trying to get a bad one going.

Another p[oint....most mag drops are really because they were not properly latched to begin. When putting that mag in, slap the hell out of it to be certain it is properly latched.

There was a pizza delivery driver ambushed in the city here about a year ago. He pulled his 38 and put 5 rounds in the robber, killing him. The robber’s girlfriend crossed the street and shot the pizza guy in the head before he could reload.
