NOT…
And a Bowie knife too. Don’t forget the Bowie knife. And flex cuffs…
And a hand grenade. I always carry as much as I can carry.
Don’t forget a lamp cord and some duct tape if you’ll be carrying around liberal college boyz with man buns who play soccer.
It’s so nice here I stopped carrying.
No mortar, no care.
A 14+1 double stack works well.
I prefer my DP-12. It carries it’s own spare mag
“Having and not needing rather than needing and not having.”
This is the essence of the issue IMO. Particularly when carrying the spare, in most cases, costs nothing in terms of extra time, effort, or risk to the overall concealment. I clip mine on when putting on a holster. Takes a few extra seconds.
Revolvers don’t have failure to feed, failure to eject, or magazine problems. When I am packing, I don’t expect getting jumped by a group that necessitates me using 15 rounds to defend myself. Of course, if you make the mistake of traveling through an area like that, maybe it should be avoided.
NV goggles too?
Yep the larger flexi cuffs for woke idiots blocking roads. A little hog tie and leave by the side of the road for the cops will do them good. /sarc
[[Therefore, it is impossible to suggest the right thing to do here]]
No it isnt- the advice is to not be an idiot, carry reloads- they don’t weigh enough to be of real concern, and are small enough to not get in the way.
It’s gonna suck being out of ammo because of an Intense stressful situation where some gang is firing and you are caught in the middle, or your hkuse has been invaded by armed flash mobs (as is happening more and more), but have run out because you didn’t carry a reload or have them nearby where you can easily get to them. If you never ever need that many, great, but if you should ever need more, and not have more, then that will be a helpless feeling noone wants to go through. You ain5 gonna be able to say “no fair man, I’m out of ammo” to the bad guys
Here’s to hoping you never need to reload, but will be able to do so if the need arises to save either yourself, you others around you. I hope israel has learned from its massive mistake of banning firearms for civilians! Had several of the folks been armed, the outcome would have been much different
My only problem is that It appears to me that most of these modern day CCW revolvers are averaging 4 shots, depending on caliber and make.
4 shots is way too few, imo.
plus if you have to reload, it’ll take significantly longer.
Oh well...
When I carry, I always carry an extra loaded magazine. I hope that I will never have to draw my weapon, but I carry an extra as more security, insurance, call it what you will.
More is better.
“No mortar, no care.”
The mortar the merrier.
(I think this is the second time I’ve used that line here since 2006)
LOL.......thx for the helpful tip.
My model 10 has the solution to both of those problems built right in.
