I used to see sea otters all the time when I was diving in the kelp beds in California. Most notable thing about them was they would lie on the backs while using stones to break abalone shells and you could hear the clicking sounds from that. I enjoyed them but didn’t go so emotional as the woman. My most memorable encounter was a whale that came close to shore. That was a great experience since the whale just remained stationary as its eyeball tracked me swimming near it about 10 yards away.
