Pence trashed Trump regarding Access Hollywood and ran to Paul Ryan to see about taking the nomination away and yet he got the VP nod.

I don’t think that act was ever voted on and signed into law. Even if it were passed some people would probably say it would that a constitutional amendment to change the meaning of natural born to just native born.
My own opinion is that the definition of natural-born (born of two citizen parents) carries no weight anymore. The courts are not going to hold anyone to that standard. Best to ignore it and get on with deciding on candidates on their merits.
Vivek already said he would not want such a position, at least not with Trump.

Pence had the VP Candidacy from the convention. The Access Hollywood thing came out after he was already nominated for VP. So its not as if he got the VP nod in spite of his actions when the Access Hollywood thing happened.
It helped that Pence already had the Vice Presidential nomination when Access Hollywood came our. Short of shooting him, there wasnt much Trump could do to get rid of him.
I will take Kari Lake for a VP nominee.
