I looked into it Reagan never held out the possibility of an invasion from outer space, he did the common thing of mentioning how an outside threat can make foes unite in peaceful cooperation.

Strange how you would say that, seeing he mentioned it in the speech. But I am not familiar with that speech, the one I had in mind was the one he gave in Iceland where he said he would continue to develop SDI and one of the reasons he mentioned was to repel an invasion from outer space. One of Gorbachev’s requirements for an agreement was for the U S to give up SDI. Reagan refused, the deal fell through.

What I did say was that he raised the possibility in a speech. Now, MacArthur was a serious man, so why would he resort to what he believed was an impossibility to bolster a point.

Reagan didn’t say or think that an alien invasion was possible, he was using what used to be a common example of things that would expose the temporary nature of animosity between nations and people.
It used to be common for a lot of us to use that example and it was very common in Cold War movies, that the free world and the Soviets would unite to protect Earth from an outside force, such as comets or space invasion, which means we can unite without it, peace is possible if we just keep working at it.
Okay, just watched Tucker on Twitter. Nice to see him back. His discussion of UFOs was an example of government so not sure the criticism. I suspect there are extraterrestial UFOs so am waiting for real proof—an alien, a ship, etc. Well, need to wait and see his next show. I don’t recall any timetable offered?

Look, I don’t give a shite about J6. Anyone that entered the Capital, those climbing the walls especially, entering offices, sitting at the speaker’s desk, etc. should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I was a Trump supporter at the time and these actions were not part of being a Trump supporter, he even repeatedly called for none of this to occur. There are crazies in every crowd, these people fit the bill, they get what they deserve, their actions have consequences, and so forth. I say all this to put it plainly and bluntly to you, I don’t care about and I dismiss your obsession. Entirely.
