Have you ever heard of the entertainment business, actors, comedians, skits?

Have you ever heard of grifters, thiefs and puppet regimes? On a related note, given the difficulty of walking, no less dancing, in spike heels it’s obvious that wearing them is nothing new to the little gay dancing midget.

First, military analysts do not have crystal balls. They are not going to get everything right. There are too many variables in conflict— but their are fundamentals, and Macgregor got it right from the start— Russian would prevail.

No one is arguing the Russians didn’t make a huge blunder the first three months. Putin admitted it. They didn’t have the force structure nor did they use basic Russian doctrine during the “Special Military Operation” when this kicked off.

Attacking in column without massive artillery support, going beyond their ISR and IAD umbrella isn’t Russian doctrine. Not calling up reserves is a major indicated the Russians didn’t anticipate this would be a protracted fight. You are correct the Russians didn’t have the organization at the start— that has been corrected.

Now that they have the right force, the corruption was dealt with, the economy switched to a wartime economy, and they are following their doctrine— there is no offer on the table because the outcome is inevitable.

The mild winter absolutely prevented Russians from executing their plan: mud season. Russians have never executed large armor offensives during mud season. The Germans didn’t either.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military is shattered, all of its best fighters are dead or wounded, they are getting killed at an average ratio of 8:1, and the worst is yet to come. Bahkmut will be remembered as the place where the Ukrainian military died.

Ukraine has no economy, it is running out of ammo, it can’t replace its personnel losses, this fight is over. It’s just waiting for a change of season.

The US egging the Ukrainians on, making promises we can’t keep, did nothing but add to the slaughter of Ukrainians— Macgregor definitely got that right.

That isn’t true, you support them, it is why you are on this thread supporting Russia’s war attacking Ukraine.

Macgregor got everything wrong for a year.
He agreed with Russian delusions from the beginning.

His information, probably from Russian sources, was garbage, either Russian propaganda or the same BS the Russians were telling each other. He did not pick up on Russian weaknesses, even when they were bloody obvious. On video even.

And even in that his analysis was way off.

Even on tactical-operational details he was horribly wrong. He didn’t get that HIMARS put the Russians in a logistical trap in Kherson. The outcome was obvious and inevitable. Even the Russians knew this, and were eventually requesting permission to withdraw, a month prior, but not Macgregor.

His current assertions are certainly based on nothing better, and his analytic powers aren’t either.

As for General Mud, nope. There were dry weeks through the winter, and it’s obvious, say at Vuhledar (on lots of video), that the mud was not preventing tactical mobility.

What was preventing a Russian breakthrough was an inability to concentrate sufficient force and the necessary support and logistics for such. You saw (again on video) companies advancing where there should have been battalions. You saw pathetic attempts at mineclearing. You saw unsuppressed Ukrainian artillery taking advantage of immobilised vehicles.

I will leave the “why” of all that to you. But your assertions re the current state are, IMHO, very unsound.

Update on Russian military operations for March 20, 2023:

- Russian forces are not only encircling the fortified city of Bakhmut, but now also apparently Avdiivka;

- Both cities are heavily fortified positions along Ukraine’s main defense line in the Donbass region and their encirclement will compromise the entire defense line;

- Western media continues admitting critical shortages of Ukrainian manpower, weapons, and ammunition;

- As Ukraine is preparing for its spring offensive, the US and its allies are likely utilizing emergency stockpiles to surge the amount of artillery and rocket ammunition to Ukraine in amounts much higher than have recently been transferred;

- his surge is a one-time possibility after which Western stockpiles will be exhausted and future shipments will depend mainly on monthly ammunition production which and will be for several years unable to match or exceed Russian ammunition supplies;

- Ukraine is being forced to organize a massive offensive using poorly trained troops operating equipment they are unfamiliar with against Russian forces who have been preparing to meet this offensive months in advance; - Ukrainian forces could once again compel Russian forces into withdrawals but will suffer immense losses before facing counteroffensives comprised of 350k Russian reservists;

Show me precisely where I have ever expressed support, directl or implied, for Russia in the Russia/Ukraine war. FR search is your friend.

I am on this thread because I loathe propagandists and warmongers.

I am on this thread because billions of hard earned US taxpayers' dollars are being thrown at one side in a conflict we should stay out of, and billions of those dollars are now utterly unaccounted for.

I am on this thread because the puppet installed by the US and NATO in Ukraine has direct access to that money; cash that rightfully belongs to Americans and certainly not to a corrupt little prick who parades around in a pseudo military uniform like the shitty actor he is, even when visiting heads of state outside his country.

I am on this thread in protest of that gay-dancing little phony whose beard was recently clocked in Paris spending at least $40,000 on bling in Paris while her hapless countrymen were getting slaughtered like pigs, trying to stay warm and living in the dark among the roar and crash of exploding artillery shells.

I am on this thread because it is an indisputable fact that "special" Americans, including Hunter and Joe Biden and the children of Mitt Romney, Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry have been awarded "jobs" worth millions in Ukraine. Hunter Biden, as we all know, is the most prominent example of that criminal enterprise. Based on that it is very reasonable to conclude that there are many more Western "elites" profiting mightily from the grift and from the money laundering operations they have constructed in Ukraine.

Lastly, I am on this thread because even as his countrymen freeze, starve, suffer and get killed, the little gay-dancing phony is out there trumpeting his support for the homosexual agenda; the very agenda that has turned American schools into pedophile grooming centers and mills for affecting the mutilation, corruption and destruction of children.

We aren't sending any money to that pig in Russia, so I don't give a damn about his actions in the war he's involved in with Ukraine - there's plenty of evil and barbarity occuring on both sides. Anyone who pulls that stupid, disingenuous crap about how Putin must be stopped because he has plans to conquer Europe a' 'la Hitler, is either a gross idiot, a gross warmonger or a gross liar.

Ukraine and Russia have been going at it since at least the Chernobyl disaster back in the 80s. I don't give a damn who wins as long as the US and the West stay the hell out of it. And really, I don't want to hear the bullshit line that the war's all Putin's fault because he commenced the invasion - there are a ton of reasons why he did that - some reasons are bullshit, and some are legit. The conquest of Europe isn't one of them. But in the end it's not our circus- it's Russia's and it's Ukraine's. Let them settle it between themselves.

There are several people on these propaganda threads who say they have family in Ukraine they're worried about. If you're one of them here are three things you can do to materially help them: 1)Sponsor them so they can immigrate (even temporarily until the war ends) to the US - on your dime. 2)Fly to Ukraine to be with them and help them get through this nightmare. 3) Join a Ukrainian militia, fly to Ukraine, pick up a rifle and fight to protect your relatives instead of expecting some kid who you don't know to get maimed or killed doing a job you should be doing yourself. Okay?

Macgregor agrees with everything you are saying, in fact, you probably just basically repeat everything he says every week.

MACGREGOR: That is over, and the phase in which we find ourselves now, Russian forces have now maneuvered to encircle and surround the remaining Ukraine forces and destroy them, through a series of massive rocket artillery strikes, airstrikes with Russian armor then slowly, but surely closing the distance and annihilating what’s left.

So this is a — this is the beginning, frankly of the end of Ukrainian resistance.

CARLSON: So the ugly stuff is just beginning.

MACGREGOR: Yes.

Macgregor isn’t the only one with this position. It all fits and conforms with logic.

If you understand Russian Army doctrine, it becomes clear. This is an artillery fight. To win an artillery fight you must have a decisive advantage in tubes, munitions, war production and ISR/IADS. Russia has that.

Now tell me the path for a Ukrainian win. There isn’t any.

In armor warfare, you don’t attack in column on certain dry areas— when you can’t protect your flanks. You wait until the ground favors you so that the entire front can be probed until the actual assault. Particularly against an opponent that doesn’t have the resources to reinforce the whole line.

Meanwhile, their defenses continue to chew up the Ukrainian army. The Russian military bides its time until the battlefield favors it, all the while amassing munitions to get the job done.

Meanwhile, if the Ukrainian army is going to oblige the Russians by wasting 14 brigades in Bahkmut, why would they attack? When the enemy is making a mistake, you don’t interrupt them. The Ukrainian infantry was very good. Now it is trashed. And yes, the worst is coming.

Macgregor tells you who his sources are: former commanders from Europeans nations whom he trained with and developed relationships with. Not Russians.

No one is talking about the air order of battle; now that the hypersonic are in full production, the HIMARS are going to go bye-bye, along with the make-shift IAD Ukraine is piece-mealing together and losing. Ukraine has no defense for it.

The US and NATO already know where this is heading. They could have given Ukraine every single tank the US Marine Corps struck from their inventory. 4 tank battalions worth and all the parts. But nothing. Instead, they schedule delivery of a handful of “brand new” tanks when this is all over. Nice.

That March 1st statement by Macgregor said it was over and you probably bought it and always buy what he says.

Cope.

The Russians were supposed to have put in a massive attack with their new mobilized forces this winter, and they couldn’t. Not due to the weather, but because a.) they didn’t have the forces, and b.) They didn’t have the logistics. and c.) because they don’t have their act together, even now. They are incompetent at operational planning and implementation, besides an inability to organize capable forces - see #1

“Hypersonic” whatevers aren’t going to do anything about HIMARS. The only advantage of hypersonic missiles vs regular cruise missiles is they are less vulnerable to SAMs. But they are still limited to fixed targets. None of those things are going to hit mobile launchers behind the lines. They aren’t even going to interrupt rail service or road convoys from Poland.

Russia is going to need manned aircraft over Ukrainian territory to do direct targeting of mobile assets, which they still can’t do due to Uke SAMs. And hypersonic whatevers aren’t going to help there either.

The US SHOULD have gone all-out on supplying Ukraine from the beginning. The US has been piecemealing this whole thing from day one. For that I blame the Biden administration and its inherently indecisive committee structure. The USG and the Pentagon, especially the US Army, have been in full institutional defense mode, reluctant to give away their reserve assets even as there is no better reason to retain them.

“”Macgregor isn’t the only one with this position. It all fits and conforms with logic.””

I don’t think you noticed the date of Macgregor’s statement in that post, which you were praising and agreeing with.

“”Russian forces have now maneuvered to encircle and surround the remaining Ukraine forces and destroy them, through a series of massive rocket artillery strikes, airstrikes with Russian armor then slowly, but surely closing the distance and annihilating what’s left.
So this is a — this is the beginning, frankly of the end of Ukrainian resistance.””

That was March 1st of 2022.

Go here and scroll down the page for the transcript with Macgregor’s masterful expert analysis of March 1, 2022, more than one year ago.
