“Government Added 46,000 Employees in February”
No, it didn’t. That’s the number needed to replace all government employees who died from the Kung Flu shot.
$2,250,000,000,000 a year is what govt costs just for employees. Double that for health care and retirement. Nearly 5 TRILLION dollars we pay goes to the ticks on the body of America. They suck us dry and bizatch that we complain.
The biggest disappointment of my Dads life as it relates to me, was that I didn’t take the government apprenticeship and go into “The Yard”. He told me “you’ll never go hungry working for the government” once you are in, and you are just a decent worker, it is only 00? years to retirement.
I wish I could go back to, and talk to myself. I was 17 straight out of HS. I scored a 99 on the exam. I worked in machines shops, wired houses, as that was my Dads trade, electrician on weekends from the time I was 10 or so. They offered me an apprenticeship as a Painter/sandblaster.. (INSULT). I turned it down. The irony was, I went from drywaller, to my own painting business. I was stupid financially, but I loved my working life.
Later I learned that once you complete the apprenticeship, you can transfer to another field. D’OH... but pride is running high when you are but a child/man.
