We should discuss the intentional deployment of criminals by the “Progressives” to control the general public.

The data shows that criminals do not follow the law. So the left applies their typical solution, make it more difficult and expensive for the law abiding people to get firearms.
Which is why they are released so quickly, the democrats need to keep the numbers up to justify gun control.

Specific politicians, judges, and “activists” who supported letting criminals loose to re-offend share responsibility for the murders, assaults, rapes, robberies, destruction, and theft committed by the criminals they put or left on the streets to victimize the public.
Identify them. Shame them and blame them publicly. Throw them out of any positions of responsiblity or “leadership” permanently. These scum have harmed society and their constituents irrevocably.

Most VICTIMS have criminal records. Usually around 80% of all homicide VICTIMS have criminal records. IIRC, something like 50% have records that include assault.

The facts invalidate much of the entire theory of leftism today.
A major part of the theory is "no one is responsible for anything". So, criminals who end up in jail, are just proto revolutionaries who understand the system is corrupt, and are as much victims as the people they hurt.
Finding the criminals to be the problem goes directly against the whole leftist edifice of victimhood as virtue.

Millions of more crimes are added with the scale going up as to type. They commit more crimes while out on bail. Recidivism for the Memphis Penal Farm is 90% with 90 days serve time, in an 11-month 29-day sentence.
