I hope so. Politicians need a good punch in the nose once in a while.
UNLESS it’s personal. That would include being promised a Chair or not, or some plum assignment that would cause the promised some rage.
I generally think politicians are all jerks, so I take back calling him a good guy. None of them actually are. I’ll change that good to not bad.
During that same show Amanda was talking about Pete Buttplug and referred to the guy he does sick stuff with as “his husband”.
Are Solomon and Amanda leading us on? Are they really as Conservative and as Christian as they seem?
I’m looking forward to watching the Gang of 20 stick it to the UniParty. I’ll donate to their campaigns. They took tremendous heat for us. I just hope Trump realizes how much the base appreciates them and in the future doesn’t endorse a candidate running against them.
Politics would certainly become more interesting to watch if dueling were an option.

From what I understand now, the feud (and tempers over the whole McCarthy vote) started flaring back when Rogers threatened he would kick anyone off this Armed Services committee, that Gaetz has been serving on, before the first vote, if they didn’t all vote for McCarthy. There were multiple reports of this at the time.
A couple of reports came out after the actions by Rogers on the floor, that Gaetz may have been after his seat, possibly in retaliation. But those reports don’t seem to have the same level of sourcing.
Gaetz did not change his vote between the 14th (failed) and 15th (passing) votes, voting Present both times. Most reports are that no further concessions were given, but that Trump pressured the other holdouts to change their votes which ultimately made the difference.
At this point it sounds like they want everyone to think they have buried the hatchet. Only time will tell if that is correct.

I remember that exact moment distinctly, because I remember it triggering me to turn off Real America's Voice for the evening. I have not gone back since. The closest has been watching some Bannon War Room videos on Rumble. Might be where I mostly watch them from now on.

Well they just did, for sure. Gaetz setting up that first vote Friday night to be the last and deciding vote, after McCarthy had already told the press he had it in the bag, was some of the best high stakes big league political poker you could have ever hoped for. That was the moment Rogers lost his cool, once he realized they had just been sunk by a torpedo they never saw coming.
We'll see what happens next. Hopefully us patriots will show our appreciation to the Gang of 20, because they will need our support as that level of humiliation isn't always forgotten. And the swamp is deep and powerful. We have to make it clear those are now our champions. Because they earned it.
