Oil is sold on the world market. There is no realistic way to keep anyone from buying oil.
Think of the world market as a big flea market. You have no idea where the stuff you are buying came from. All you know is you want it and you have the money..
So all we are doing is insulting China (not that I think that is bad) but we can’t prevent them from buying oil.
