Then it will time to ban private mansion ownership - particularly by the ocean.

That is my point. And to those people who claim that no one will take their cars from their cold, dead, hands, don’t worry, you’ll get to keep your gasoline cars. The problem will be the cost of registering and driving them. And if you try to drive without being registered, you’ll be flagged by license plate cameras within 2 blocks and your car will be impounded and crushed.

Now wait just a minute there. I like my house at the beach. Worked very hard my entire life to afford to live here. I have guns, it will be rather hard to take it.

They’ll just tax the hell out of gasoline, and the oil companies will just say “Screw it!” it’s not worth it.

And they WILL be dealt with in a very satisfying way.

Not for long, that’s why EVs are just to smooth the transition to a non-car economy.
How about a limit of 4000 square feet of living space per person? We start imposing crushing taxes for anybody with more than that.

Or other, less visible, means, such as squeezing them on ‘pollution’ requirements, or no longer financing anything involving fossil fuels.
And they are VERY GOOD AT IT, just look at the price of gasoline in Texas - maybe $3.50 a gallon, now go to Northern California, $6.50 a gallon. Why the difference? Why no protests? Who’s getting this extra $3.00 a gallon? Why is California running huge budget surpluses now, even with their on-going brain drain?
No one questions, they must be celebrating their accomplishment, BIG TIME!!!!
