The whole idea is to impose a humongous burden on the rich while not even touching the working class and the middle class. They certainly used it to cause the prices to go nuts, cause shortages of vehicles and parts, and make all car prices increase to make it more expensive on car buyers, and owners for repairs.
Part of agenda21.
I mean, destroying the economy was one of the overall broad goals, this is just one of many specific areas.
