Some of us already “hoarded” since we prepare for hard times.
That means we don’t have to “hoard” now.
It is those who failed to prepare who are dangerous to themselves and others.

My ex-wife had a house in the country on a dirt road. Her neighbors are all rich rednecks. Several have shooting houses on their property. If you trip walking out her back door you would roll down the bank into a very wide and deep creek. It’s surrounded by woods with more wildlife than you could count. It is a very, very good survival location. She just sold it and bought a cookie cutter house in a neighbor in town. It’s pretty much the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen someone do.
Survival of the fittest.
