I think it was more Russia bought off the Bidens.
This explains Biden's holding up the last delivery of the weapons being sent to Ukraine by Trump. Biden's up front promise not to send American troops. Biden's green lighting of the Russian invasion when he said Putin had to do something. And Biden's weak assistance to Ukraine.
Fortunately it doesn't all depend on Biden. Boris Johnson an other NATO and European countries have come to Ukraine's aid.
Ukraine is where the money is for the politicians. And the American public demand that the blood of Americans be used to defend and protect that source of dirty money along with Fauci’s bio labs. They want some more virus and bacteria developed and released over here.

That was a foregone conclusion; Americans had just watched our troops beat a hasty haphazard retreat out of Afghanistan as we lost our second war against the Islamic world - nobody was going to support sending US troops anywhere.

I guess so, if we are to assume the same media that has lied to us for decades is telling the truth that Ukraine is “good” while Russia is “bad”. If you look into the historical context of this conflict, including the seemingly-unrelated invasion of Georgia in 2008 and the earlier invasion of eastern Ukraine in 2014, it is a lot less black-and-white than we’re being told.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic (considering the history). When the USSR was dissolved, agreements were made whereby NATO was not to expand eastward. NATO violated the agreement and admitted numerous states, most of which didn’t border Russia itself. When Georgia and Ukraine were discussing admission, Russia took action and invaded them (in 2008 and 2014 respectively) to secure its own borders against NATO. At some point Ukraine must have been emboldened by America’s oligarchs, because they persisted and the recent larger invasion occurred.
They are doing nothing we didn’t do when Cuba wanted to host Soviet forces, and missiles in particular.

There was no signed agreement, but public statements by NATO officials in speeches.
You can dispute it all you want; Putin has made it clear since 2007 that this was the basis for Russian concerns. He was ignored, and subsequently invaded the portions of Georgia and Ukraine along his borders (and NATO did nothing).
Like I said, your assertion is incorrect. There is no signed agreement.
Note to Putin. When you lose wars, there are consequences. All of the former enslaved nations have harbored and ran to NATO for protection. Putin will not attack a NATO nation.

They lost a ship, Ukraine lost a lot of territory and population. They (and Georgia) never got back the territory they lost in the first attempts.
China, India, and Asian countries, along with the Middle East and African nations don’t agree. Non-nato countries aren’t buying it.
Russia lost it’s G8 status. Russia lost it’s myth that it has a strong modern military and more sanctions will continue to grind Russia.

Russia has vast natural resources, including oil and gas; far more than is needed to sustain its population. They are in the better bargaining position - just ask Germany. If the West shuns them, they have several billion customers in Asia for their resources.

Let them go to Asia and China. Europe and Germany plan to ween themselves off of Russian Energy by the end of 2024 and have already cut back 20%.

We are importing masses of immigrants (including illegals) because in this day and age our population of a third of a billion is miniscule compared to the global population - and as our jobs were sent to the developing countries, THEY are the consumers now (while we are consigned to the strip-mall economy of debt, cheap junk, negative birthrates, and in which we’ll “own nothing and be happy”).
Our illegal immigrants coming in via SlowJoe polices had nothing to do with sanctions on Russia.
As far as Russians selling to China and India, good, that is awesome, get used to it. Euros will be off Russian energy by end 2024.
