Well, their stock was half the value it was a year ago, so anything that will boost stock prices is great...for an essentially worthless stock that has zero inventory and production.
Elon will probably stay there a month, hit the wall of wokeism, and leave, bad-mouthing the app and endorsing Gab or GETTR instead. Then $TWIT will crash to penny stock price.
If you needed another reason to hate Disney, recall that Disney fired all its US workers and replaced them with lower paid H-2B workers. The American workers were black mailed into training their replacements in order to get separation benefits. Disgraceful.
The left will dredge up the worst of the worst from the right and present it to Musk as ‘normal stuff’ from the right.
The left does their intimidation by lying. Just like they did with the ‘don’t say gay’ crap. Lucky for us Musk can see through them.
He doesn’t just control 10% of the company. He potentially controls up to a 25 or 30% voting block already.
While I do find this hilarious - if I were a big Tesla investor I’d be a bit concerned, how much of his time will this consume? Is it a distraction? SpaceX, Tesla, and now Twitter too?
Either way...I have to hand it to him, he’s historic.

This limits the amount of stock Musk can hold before his term expires in 2024 to 14.9%. Personally I would rather see him purchase another 20% of the stock and lead an outside takeover of Twitter if they do not change their biased activities.
I wonder if it legally limits his use of proxies?
I hope he can stop the “cancel fever” and the censorship of non-Leftist views. One good thing is that Leftist rage-heads are already announcing that they are leaving Twitter.

I think that may be why they put Elon, an obvious thorn to existing management, on the board because until his board term expires in 2024 and 90 days thereafter he must remain a passive investor and cannot acquire more than 14.9% of outstanding stock thus restricting his ability for a hostile takeover Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. If Elon quits the board, that may telegraph his intent to attempt a takeover.
