Why does everybody keep saying you need gold. After a nuclear war I don’t think anybody’s gonna care about it. You sure as hell can’t eat it.

I have been commenting on this to the few people here that listen. it is so telling, along with stealing the russian foreign central bank reserves, that we are going straight to wwiii, which should solve the problem of the midterm elections. I believe the looming elections drive the timing of this at a minimum.

I agree. In DC’s brave new world gold will not feed or protect your family. After Judge Scalia died I began banking what would become the new coin of realm, ammo. I know of nothing, other than food and medicines, that will be more valuable or easily bartered.
They will have to take me by complete surprise attack to avoid losing any skin. And, if it's after dark on my place, I have the advantage of familiar terrain. And, you can buy some awfully good FLIR equipment these days. Just ask any wild hog hunter in the south.
Biden also said we were going to have a winter of death. I think most of us are still here.
