My destination is the Reelfoot Lake region of rural northwest TN. My family has a pretty large agricultural operation there, and deep roots.
I consider it one of the safer parts of the US (from direct nuclear attack) because there are no military installations nearby, and because the population there is all oriented to support agriculture.
Even some of the remote places out West have missile silos and military installations, so they are not necessarily any safer (IMHO).
