So the media cares about the family of this recently deceased supposed insurrectionist? That tells me he was not a Trump supporter.

Way to go NBC! Its great to see media holding the public accountable for wondering why somebody died in public custody! Keep up the good work and stick it to those upidity peasants for the glorious regime!
I wish that were true. When totalitarians are in charge may be far less frightening to lie than to dare tell the truth. Of course the one who does is not in fear of mearly being branded a liar, but being treated as a “liar” by the state.

I came of age during the cold war, and served in the military on the tail end of it, in to the GW1 and Somalia era. The US was never squeaky clean, or acted in a truly altruistic fashion. On the balance sheet, though, we were the good guys more often than not. It hurts me to the very core of my soul to admit that is not the case anymore. Because of the actions of the US government, we are no longer the good guys on the world stage. I'm not sure there are any "good guys" (in regards to governments) out there anymore.
Funny. They didn’t mention the laughable case the FIB filed claiming some grand plot to kidnap Gestapo Gretchen that had more FIB agents than actual suspects involved. Additionally, it was FIB agents who suggested and indeed pushed the idea of kidnapping Gestapo Gretchen. The agent who headed it up, Trask was recently arrested as a wife beater.
Oh lookie here! That same agent was also moved over to Washington DC before the Jan 6 mostly peaceful protest. What a koinkidink! Kinda like the same FIB agent heading up both the Hilary Clinton “investigation” and the Russia Collusion “investigation”.
Amazing how the same individuals (this one also guilty of wrongdoing in porking a co-worker without revealing the relationship as was required) keep heading up one key and highly political case after another.

And that wouldn't happen if they were just "rogue agents" acting solely on their own volition entirely outside the norms of the agency. Their actions are supported and directed from within.
