I've been spelling it Bidet on social media since way before the election.

Someone referred to LGB as the "delta variant" of FJB...more contagious but less caustic.

There was an article that, while anti-Bidet, lamented that FJB was being championed...basically the author felt FJB was a stark sign of how far we've fallen as a civilized society.

Part of me doesn't care about the decline of civility, because we didn't start this decline. And I'm not a pacifist. Knives to gunfights and all that.

But for those (and that part of me) that DO care about civility, they now have LGB...AND the added bonus of it being handed to us. The grand prize explanation for accepting LGB goes to rlmorel:

And right there, on national television, we saw it in action, however clumsy and amateurish in the attempt by Kelli Stavast that it was. When I saw that, it brought to mind the observation that Alexandr Solzhenitsyn once made:

"We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying."

The Leftists ignore reality, fact, reason, and liberty. Any criticism of their inability to take those into account in their destructive actions simply rolls off their backs like water off a duck.

But one thing they cannot abide is when they become the object of genuine, heartfelt ridicule. And that is exactly what "Let's Go Brandon!" is...:)

As someone else on FR wrote, LGB may be the 2021 equivalent of Basket of Deplorables. In some way, the less harsh LGB will live rent-free in the enemies' heads more than FJB. To that, I say...

I couldn’t be more in agreement. I don’t like public displays of obscenity, but I will say that the damage being done by the Biden Administration and their Leftist allies is exponentially far worse than any public obscenity.

Our ostensible countrymen are at war with us (conservatives) and it has been going on for some time. I believe it began in earnest in 2009, though it has been percolating for a long period of time even before that due to what we have come to refer to as “The Deep State”.

The Deep State isn’t simply a group of politicians, it is far more than that. It is pervasive throughout all levels of government and the intelligence agencies, which are stroked, aided, and abetted by like-minded politicians.

I liken it more to an artificial hive mind-like intelligence that goes rogue and begins to think for itself in a malicious way. That is our current government.

So, the fact that we say F*** Joe Biden (or without the obscenity (Let’s Go Brandon) is far surpassed by the obscenity that is the Deep State and the Democrat Party waging war on their own country.

And I do have one difference of opinion-that where LGB is more contagious but less caustic...

I think of FJB as a cancer treatment agent that, while it may attack Biden and his leftist allies and cause damage to them, is broad enough and causes damage not only to them, but to the host (the US society) due to coarsening of dialogue and the propensity of Leftists to shrug it off as partisan bickering, nothing new from the Deplorables. The medical analogy to “F*** Joe Biden” is a type of chemotherapy that might kill the cancer, but will also kill healthy tissues, cause hair to fall out, cause severe nausea, damage the liver and lungs, and possibly even kill a weakened patient.

But the “Let’s Go Brandon” is more like an cancer treatment that is highly focused and efficient, goes right to the very heart of the cancer (Leftism and Democrats, and by extension, The Deep State) and causes damage to it without inflicting it on “the host” which is US Society. The medical analogy to “Let’s Go Brandon” is the radioactive isotope treatment of thyroid cancer which when the isotope is injected, goes straight to the cancer around the body, kills it very selectively, and causes very little or nothing in the way of side effects, and saves the patient.

So, in this way, I find “Let’s Go Brandon” to be not only more infectious since there is no obscenity involved (except in the minds of Leftists!) and allows all Americans of all ages to participate in the protest, it is more caustic because to the Left, they understand that “Let’s Go Brandon” does indeed mean “F*** Joe Biden”! Crowds of Americans of all stripes gleefully chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” will not do any damage to American society, and infects the Leftists and Democrats right where it hurts them the most by using the most effective infectious vector particularly for them: Their desire to be taken seriously!
