When I lived in Virginia, that state doesn’t make you declare a Party affiliation. When I moved to Maryland it asked me to declare, and I declared Libertarian. At least I don’t get the crappy GOP mailings.

The modern Republican Party is really the Democrat Lite Party.

Somehow they got my cell number. I got bombarded during the last Presidential campaign. It’s starting again - this time they are downright rude.

Instead of sitting around bitching about not voting because they didn't have a meaningful vote, real R's-Americans-patriots would get involved at the local level and begin to fix what they perceive as the "lesser of two evils".
In one sense, not voting compares with having one's vote stolen.

Exactly, transfer funds from the coffers of people like McConnell to local Congressional races where these candidates need money.
Every call ended the same way. I simply point out to the caller: "I am not a Republican and I've never been registered with any political party, so I don't know why you're calling me."
Their canned "Don't abandon the Republican Party!" sales pitch turns instantly lame when I tell them this, and they know it.
They only have my contact information because I donated to the Trump campaigns in 2016 and 2020. I'm sure they are eventually going to figure out what's going on here.
I despise the linguini-spined GOP. I am now a proud Independent.
