I WAS “the manager” for about thirty years. I loved “firing” customers like you. Pack up your stuff...and get out.

Oh, well I probably should let you know we are on the same page. We decided to just stopped going there and planned on cancelling our Costco membership. However, our executive card is our main credit card, and we pay it off every month, so the extra check at the end of the year for $400-$600 made the membership free, so we just didn’t bother.

And now the point is moot.

No. I called nobody a nazi. My point was clear. To get to the boss, you have to go through his people. And the fact is, if your position doesn’t have standing (like a PETA member yelling “meat is murder” at the butcher shop at the grocery store) you’ll get nowhere and get cancelled. But if your cause is just, you - or folks like you - will prevail, eventually. That’s why WalMart stopped forcing masks.

Sadly, sometimes you have to ramp it up. If it makes you feel any better, I have to get to “righteous indignation” mode before I get rude. It happened in Seattle and I was kicked out of a restaurant. But then they wanted me back and I didn’t bother. I went to a different one that didn’t care about masks and we had a great time.

Our founders understood the concept of sacrificing your COMFORT to protect your rights. You will not win every battle, but fight you must if you don’t want them removed one by one.
