The idea that people are paid to post here strikes me as a ridiculous conceit. Our Alexa rank is #21,361. The Daily Caller ranks #1,250, as a off-the-head counter example. I don't think people are paid to post in comments there either, frankly. The average engagement here is low, too.
Now, as far as Pence goes, I wasn't trying to handicap the 2024 contest. I was just speaking in a general way, in particular about Kelly.
Someone thoughtfully posted the actual percentage ranking from CPAC. In those Pence is in 5th place: far behind Trump and also far behind DeSantis. (CPAC was held in Florida, so they are both favorite sons, so especially on Desantis there is some numbers inflation going on, but not enough to challenge his as the non-Trump front-runner.
So, I was wrong to say that he's the frontrunner.
He's AMONG the Front Runners and the only one making it obvious he's going to run.
Will Trump run again? If he does he's the obvious leaders, but will he? I doubt it.
Will DeStantis run? It looks like it right now. He's probably the true-front runner in a non-Trump race.
My main point was that Kelly was staying in the game and going to a team that is clearly setting up a run, and probably has cash to pay her.
I think her personal situation (her husband, Fatso, being a rabid anti-Trumper) made another tour with Trump not possible.
DeSantis is a Governor, his hires are going to get more scrutiny. Ditto for Noem. I'm sure she worked down the list like the true pro she is.
