How does it happen?
Let dope-addled pot-heads vote on legalizing pot. That’s how.

I’ve been smoking it for 42 years....I’m not dumbed down in the least
Do I think that there are politicians who have insidious motivations for legalizing it? Sure, legalizing any recreational drug will lead to more people engaging in substance abuse..... The same way that building highways and making cars available in under developed countries will lead to more car accidents
So yes, I see the downside to it.... But there are plenty of people like me out there who just prefer weed to alcohol, and think that both should be legal, with restrictions

This thread kinda sux in the stoners vs juicers high school rivalry. Maybe it’ll get better after the juicers are finished drinking lunch. Anti-stoners are already here making feeble arguments; if they're the nonjuiced contingent, the juicers certainly won't elevate things.
I've been a juicer and a stoner, and have for decades been neither - I'm for the freedom of adults.

So the 57% of deep-red Oklahoma that voted for pot are dope-addled pot-heads?

You tried to defend weed by attacking alcohol.
The proof is there for all to see.

I am absolutely not a “weed Karen.” As a recovering alcoholic, I stay away from all manner of mind alteration, but I don’t begrudge anyone who can responsible partake to do so. I’m just saying that mind altering drug legalization is de facto in most tyrannies because it’s a convenient herd soother.

Wrong twice. I'm pointing out that what you said about one applies to the other - so any policy conclusions drawn regarding the one must logically be drawn regarding the other. I myself use neither, and recommend that choice to all.
You tried to defend weed by attacking alcohol.
I explained it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
The proof of your functional illiteracy is there for all to see.

I hear you but alcohol is more comparable to heroin than marijuana so the discussion should not be relevant anywhere above adolescents.

Then, you lied about it.
Now, you’re being nasty about it.

You argue like an 8 year old.Projection - your repeating the same rebutted claim over and over is how 8-year-olds argue.

You tried to defend weed by attacking alcohol.False no matter how often you repeat it. But let's try to knock you out of your loop by coming at the subject from a different angle:
You "attacked" weed but reject "attacks" on alcohol - why is that? Is alcohol better than weed, and if so, how?

Then, you try to deflect.
Then, you lie.
Then, you get nasty,
Now you’re deflecting again.

I did no such thing. You’re awfully touchy on the subject of alcohol.
Why is that?
