I suspect the point was to contrast the conservative virtue of gun ownership with the allegedly nonconervative activity of marijuana use.
My first guess was OK! I had an inside tip.
Just a few years ago, while working at a resort in the Sierra mountains, a hiker from Oklahoma dropped by to resupply. He remarked how redneck OK was, and gave an example. He said that if police stopped you in your vehicle, and found rolling papers and no tobacco present, they would arrest you for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Fast forward: I received a call from a friend that is currently working in OKC, OK, looking for carpenter help. He is constructing a commercial marijuana grow in a large warehouse renting for $12,000 a month plus utilities. At the time of the call he had just finished repairing a leak in the overhead watering system and was fast at work assembling the light system. He inquired whether I would be interested in assembling the table system. I’m thinking about going after Christmas, and then slingshot to the Trump Rally on Jan 6th. Win - win?
So at the very least you seem to be saying that the Trump-loving voters of Oklahoma have been hoodwinked by tyranny - which is a low opinion of them. If that's not your point, what is?
The pot store where I usually shop is owned and run by conservatives. They offer senior and military discounts and have an incredible selection - picked up some 30% THC Indica yesterday, along with some wicked dab chunks and 3 packs of edibles for the Mrs. Christmas stocking. Same here but stocked up on super lemon haze og 34.8%. They have great discount days for flower and I can picked up an oz top shelf like this for $200. OK really did it right and help small businesses like no other.
I don’t like how the line is blurred between possible medical uses for marijuana and “recreational” uses. This allows for addiction to marijuana under the guise of medicine. Maybe the weed should be legal like alcohol. Then if legitimate medical uses for marijuana are known - suppose it helps glaucoma or helps manage chronic pain safer than other drugs - then a doctor could help a patient manage their use. I don’t think the current situation is ethical. Quack doctors encourage people to self-medicate and they make a big profit doing so. There isn’t seen a difference between someone who gets addicted over a false medical pretense and someone with a real problem like chronic pain who maybe could be helped in a non-addictive way. Americans seem to go to extremes - either prohibition or a system that encourages addiction.
Your job sucks.

The market will equilibrate - less able sellers will be outcompeted until supply doesn't exceed demand. That's part of the genius of economic liberty.

it’s insane. You can’t drive one mile in Edmond and North OKC without seeing them. My son’s house by Mathis brothers is surrounded by them. Even across the street from each other.
